The museum displays some of the best-preserved examples of the country’s historical forms of transport, ranging from vintage steam locomotives and ancient coaches to minor railway memorabilia. Part of the complex also includes a small museum detailing the history and tradition of the Jewish community in Zambia. • Had never been on a train and seeing the inside of the first class coach and also the other locomotives/engines was really a great experience. I liked the swings in the play pack too. The place can be made more beautiful by greening the environment. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and our tour was awesome.
  • The Railway Museum is only one museum in Zambia. which has oldest railway engine & compartment, engine from 1892 to 1957 and the most existing things the steam crane. From the museum you can see the old railway lines maps of northern & southern Rhodesia. The Guide in that museum is very friendly & explained everything, a lot about Jewish history in Zambia. Please find the entrance fees from the picture.
