Northern Province travel guide

Parks · Waterfalls · Hot Springs
A vast region on Africa's great southern plateau, Northern Province includes several scenic lakes and waterfalls in its rift valleys. Big game safaris in the national parks, with options of outdoor camping, top many Northern Province itineraries. Meanwhile, monuments and museums portray the history of the region's wildlife conservation, as well as the Zambian people and culture. While poor infrastructure has hindered tourism in the Northern Province, those that do venture here are treated to superb nature off the beaten track.
