Svolvaer — 3 nights

The largest town on the Lofoten Islands, Svolvaer serves as a good base from which to launch your tour of the archipelago.
Svolvaer is known for museums, adventure, and wildlife. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: see the interesting displays at Lofoten Krigsminnenmuseum, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at The Lofoten Aquarium, hike along Tjeldbergtind, and stroll through Festvagtind Hike.

Krakow, Poland to Svolvaer is an approximately 19.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. When traveling from Krakow in September, plan for slightly colder days and about the same nights in Svolvaer: temperatures range from 15°C by day to 10°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) to allow time to drive to Leknes.

Leknes is a town in Nordland county, Norway. Kick off your visit on the 5th (Mon): enjoy the sand and surf at Uttakleiv Beach, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Haukland Beach, and then shake up your sightseeing with Holandsmelen Hiking Trail. Keep things going the next day: kick back and relax at Kvalvika Beach, then look for gifts at Lofoten Gaver og Brukskunst AS, and then get engrossed in the history at Lofotr Viking Museum.

The locals came to Reine to catch cod; visitors come to catch the views.
On the 7th (Wed), kick back and relax at Bunes Beach, see the interesting displays at Norwegian Fishing Village Museum, and then trek along Reinebringen.
