Kirkenes is a town in Sør-Varanger Municipality in Finnmark county, in the far northeastern part of Norway. Visiting King Crab Safari by Snowhotel Kirkenes and Pasvik Nature Reserve will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kirkenes: Birk Husky (in Svanvik) and Lungomare (in Grense Jakobselv). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Treriksroysa, take an in-depth tour of Grenselandmuseet, get a taste of local nightlife at Barentsbadet Kirkenes, and take some stellar pictures from Hoyde 96 - Watch Tower.
