Often referred to as Iceland's second city, Akureyri offers an array of cultural attractions in a scenic setting.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Salka Whale Watching and Off-Road Tours. Visiting Horseback Riding Tours and Iceland Horse Tours will get you outdoors. Venture out of the city with trips to Glaumbaer Museum (in Varmahlid), Husavik (The Exploration Museum, The Húsavík Whale Museum, &more) and Grettislaug (in Saudarkrokur).
