Located at the western end of Coral Coast, with its long sheltered beaches and popular surf spots, Sigatoka is best known for its immediate surroundings than for the town itself.
Take a break from Sigatoka with a short trip to Momi Battery Historical Park in Denarau Island, about 52 minutes away. Spend the 26th (Sun) exploring nature at Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park. Known as the Garden Island, Taveuni is a tropical paradise of tall mountains draped in lush rainforest, filled with delicate wildflowers and colorful birds, and dotted with cascading waterfalls.
Spend the 8th (Fri) exploring nature at Bouma National Heritage Park. Spend the 9th (Sat) exploring nature at Waitabu Marine Park. Situated on a verdant, hilly peninsula, Suva is the second-largest city in the South Pacific and has been the capital of Fiji since 1882.
Explore Suva's surroundings by going to Pacific Harbour (The Pearl Golf Course & Shark Diving). On the 14th (Thu), hike the day away at Talanoa Treks. There's still lots to do: browse the exhibits of Fiji Museum, take in the exciting artwork at 21K Gallery, hunt for treasures at Suva Municipal Market, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Mount Korobaba.
