Ndola — 4 nights

Observe the bustling industrial center of Ndola, capital of Zambia's copper-mining region, and see numerous facilities that contribute to the economy of the region.
When in Ndola, make a side trip to see Lake Kashiba in Mpongwe, approximately Mpongwe away. It doesn't end there: see the interesting displays at Copperbelt Museum and pause for some photo ops at Dag Hammarskjoeld Memorial.

Chingola is a city in Zambia's Copperbelt Province, the country's copper-mining region, with a population of 157,340 (2008 census). Change things up with a short trip to Sioma Ngwezi National Park in Sioma (about 1h 25 min away). There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage.

Step out of Lusaka with an excursion to Munda Wanga Environmental Park in Chilanga--about 32 minutes away. Spend the 3rd (Sat) in the pleasant surroundings of Chaminuka Game Reserve. There's lots more to do: stroll through Lilayi Elephant Nursery, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Ignatius church, browse the different shops at Eastpark Mall, and shop like a local with Lusaka Collective.
