Lalomanu, Upolu — 2 nights

Lalomanu is a village on the east coast of Upolu island in Samoa.The village is part of the electoral constituency (Faipule District) Aleipata Itupa i Luga which is within the larger political district of Atua.The white sandy seaside is called Lalomanu Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Samoa with beach fale accommodation run by locals, including Litia Sini Beach Resort and Taufua Beach Fales, for tourists and visitors. Start off your visit on the 3rd (Tue): take in the dramatic scenery at Fuipisia Waterfall, then take in the dramatic natural features at To Sua Ocean Trench, and then take in the dramatic scenery at Sopoaga Falls. Here are some ideas for day two: go for a walk through Lalomanu Crater Walk and then enjoy the sand and surf at Lalomanu Beach.

The Samoan capital of Apia serves as the first port of call for most visitors, and it plays home to a number of historic sites, a laid-back seaside promenade, and a range of hotels and restaurants keeping tourists entertained.
When in Apia, make a side trip to see Giant Clam Sanctuary in Savaia, approximately Savaia away. There's much more to do: take in the dramatic scenery at Papapapaitai Falls, get engrossed in the history at Robert Louis Stevenson Museum, pause for some serene contemplation at Baha'i House of Worship Samoa, and glide peacefully along the water with AquaSamoa.
