A gateway to the fertile hills and valleys of the Little Karoo and a stop on historic Route 62, the scenic village of Montagu captivates with its quaint Cape Dutch architecture and mineral hot springs.
Step out of the city life by going to De Hoop Nature Reserve Whale Trail and Van Loveren Family Cellar. Discover out-of-the-way places like Sanbona Wildlife Reserve and Drostdy Museum. There's still lots to do: learn about winemaking at Ashton Winery.
