A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Explore Paris' surroundings by going to Rouen (Musee des Beaux-Arts de Rouen, Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Rouen, &more), Fondation Claude Monet (in Giverny) and Palace of Versailles (in Versailles). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Eiffel Tower, shop like a local with Champs-Elysees, walk around Luxembourg Gardens, and stroll the grounds of The Paris Catacombs.

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Rome: Tivoli (Villa Adriana, Villa d'Este, &more). There's still lots to do: delve into the distant past at Colosseum, take an unorthodox tour of Catacombs of Saint Callixtus, ponder the design of Trevi Fountain, and don't miss a visit to Piazza Navona.
