Worth spending half hour in this iconic market. You will find all exotic fruits from locals, souvenirs, local dishes near the market in the street, freh fish.

A real market for locals not tourists. (Although upstairs there are lots of shops selling souvenirs and clothing at reasonable prices. ) Good quality veg and great fish. We bought a big Jack fish for 100r/s, enough to feed 4 people. Tell them you want it filleted and a young guy will do that too, ( we gave him 50rs tip).
