A remote spot nestled on the southwest of the island, Anse Intendance offers wild, pristine beach tranquility. Follow the mangrove-lined jungle path past the one nearby resort, to white powdered sands and corner after corner of sun-kissed seclusion. Swimming is not advised from June to September due to strong currents, although the lack of reef does attract daring surfers throughout the year. The beach has few nearby facilities, so pack a picnic and plenty of water. An absolutely fantastic beach. Easy to reach by car and plenty of parking. Strong waves, please be careful, stay close to the beach. But bathing is great fun. Sand is soft and clean. Cool beach bar with cocktails and sometimes BBQ. Reasonable prices for Seychelles. But closed for a long time over lunch.

Nice white sandy beach (also there are no rocks in the water). There are not so many shaded areas so be prepared. The currents can be strong, you have to pay attention. The beach is also a sea turtle nesting area, but there is some hotel construction right at the beach. 5 stars for the beach itself, but 1 star for building a hotel so close to the beach.
