Magic Ice Lofoten
A fantasy world of ornate ice sculptures awaits you at Magic Ice Lofoten. Dramatic LED lighting and music enhance the experience at what claims to be the biggest ice bar in the world. The entire exhibit is made of crystal-clear ice--everything from the tables and chairs to the glasses at the bar. Appropriate for visitors of all ages, this is a great family photo opportunity. Admission includes a warm coat and pair of gloves, as well as a signature frosty cocktail. You can plan Svolvaer trip in no time by asking Inspirock to help create your itinerary.

Walking to the warehouse end of town, this converted herring storehouse was a bit underwhelming. It is not an Ice Hotel. Ponchos aside, there are ice sculptures dotted around this industrial site...

An interesting but expensive experience. Is the inside cool? Absolutely. There are not a lot of ice bars to go visit, but the temps of course required to keep all of the furniture and sculptures...

This is the World's first Ice Bar apparently. There are others in other cities, but this was the first. It was great fun with interactive sculptures, music and changing colour lights. We particularly enjoyed the slide and the throne 🙂 You get a complimentary drink on entry, and can then pay for more if required. A poncho coat and gloves are provided as the temperature is -6°c inside. Lots of places to sit, on reindeer skins.

Me and friend went to visit the Magic Ice in Lofoten and we were quite surprised with the ice sculptures. The staff of the bar is awesome, really nice people and the guy from Lithuania that did some of the sculptures and was serving drinks is not only talented, but a great guy. We only give 4 stars because the music was weird and they didnt serve hot drinks inside the bar. The bar is usually -4 or -5 degrees, what its cool but then we can only stay inside a bit until we start freezing. Overall its a great experience even though its a bit expensive, costs 250 with one drink included or 300 with 2 drinks. But you should see it more as a unique experience than just a night out in a bar. Its a bar/art gallery. It looks like it was the first permanent ice gallery of the world. What its pretty cool!
