Climb the 109 stairs to the top of the 16 m (52 ft) cast-iron lighthouse at Lindesnes Fyr, on the southernmost point of Norway. Watch large waves crash into the rocks below, and visit the on-site museum, rotating exhibits, and gallery of local artists, all included in the price of your entrance ticket. Ask at the visitor center for a map marked with various hikes that begin from here. Stop by the gift shop on your way out, where you can find many items made with sea water, including the famous lighthouse bread with seaweed. It is a museum now, and an entrance fee should be paid. A path from the parking lot leads up to the light house. You can get upstairs and enjoy a very beautiful view. Windy! There are also remains of the defence system from the second World War. There is also a small museum, a shop and a good restaurant. We visited everything and it was good. The most astonishing is the view from the light house.
