    Experienced the crossing both by ferry and by car. The ferry made the annoucment and pointed out the sign. For cars there is a vistor center (souvenir shop)

    It was great visiting the the northernmost tip of continental Norway and experiencing 24 hour long days. Watching whales and porpoises at 2am in the morning was very unique. Now it makes me want to.....  more

    Friendly, helpful folks. The shop and restaurant are not so expensive. The food is good. A hike from this center is possible, but don't go alone, beware of "rotten snow" in midsummer and bring sunglasses with you.

    Fantastic place! Souvenirs are a bit over commercialized … lots of plastic articles, even the clothing. But nature around is a breathtaker, good for some pictures and a quick hike. Stop here if you are in the area!
