Step inside Hunderfossen Eventyrpark and meet characters from Norwegian fairy tales. This amusement park, founded in 1984, offers a few wild rides for adults and lots of different activities for young kids and older children. A giant troll guards the treasure of the Norwegian folk stories, which is kept behind the gates of a 37 m (120 ft) tall castle. Ride through the fairytale castle, try to save a princess, or sit and eat traditional Norwegian food among the trolls in the restaurant. The park also features a science center and 4-D shows like "The Little Prince." Note that the shows are in Norwegian. A great day for the whole family. Our 7 y.o. enjoyed every minute, so did the grown ups. We never spent more than 12 minutes in queue, and it seems the park is built to spread the guests well out. The swimming pool area is first and foremost for kids. We had fun in the water, everything was clean, and the showers hot. Our main meal was the Burgers. Expensive, and nothing to write home about. The cheeseburger was OK, the chicken burger should be avoided. Overall friendly helpful staff, clean toilets and a functional app with map. All in all, recommended.

We were here last year. The employees in the restaurant of the hotel was not friendly and not accomodating. It felt like they always in a hurry or something. The restaurant do not have any exciting meny and the food is not delicious and expensive in terms of the quantity and the quality of the food. The room we've got was tiny for a family of 3. I recommend to eat outside the vicinity of the hotel because you will get more value for your money. The park itself have a different activities. It also have a pool for the kids to bathe and play. In my point of view, this hotel/park is average compare to the other places we've been. I don't think that we will go back to this place again in the near future.
