I have bought a classes package this winter. I told them every time I need someone to teach me to do alpine: instructor!. I had classes before of other tipes of sports... this place use young boys...

This Alpine skicentre is situated just 10 mins from the Kongsberg city center. It has a big parking space, restaurants both at the top and the bottom of the arena, 3 main lifts and 7-8 slopes of all..... more

A respect for one’s city here in Norway is measured by the size of your local alpine skiing resort, and Kongsberg do have a reason to boost their self esteem. The resort has nine slopes, five lifts and a stunning view of Kongsberg. The resort is virtually in the city center. Not to steep, this resort is perfect for medium level skiers. Free parking is provided too. The resort is located on top of a spaghetti of silver mines being operated from the early 1600’s, and you are able to stop and look down a couple of shafts reaching all the way to the top.

Many slopes for all levels! Great wide slope for beginners (which coincidentally i was when I visited) very helpful English speaking staff. Night ski available till 9pm. Easy to get by car, lots of parking on site. Ski and snowboarding equipment available to rent (be aware they charge extra for every piece of equipment, so if you can do without goggles, you’ll be able to save) overall, it was an amazing experience
