Nicely organized walking route outside to see the carvings. Also inside the museum there were interesting exhibitions. And a guide book at your own language, I appreciate.😁 Kept thinking that how exciting it must have been when the local children found those first carvings in the seventies...I wonder what was the first one.. maybe the moose pooping😁

A small but no less interesting museum. At the time of our visit, the outdoor aspect of this attraction was inaccessible. We visited during the winter season. However, the displays about the local rock art, the Aurora Borealis, predators and the Sami people were fascinating. We would definitely recommend a visit. The car park is quite small, but there is a frequent bus service well within walking distance.
