Ideal for children of all ages, Kongeparken offers over 50 different rides and activities. Known as the city's most popular attraction, the amusement park is themed around teddy bears and provides wholesome family fun. Try out rides such as the Humla, Norway's biggest merry-go-round; the Airship, Norway's highest Ferris wheel; Brumleband, Norway's longest bob run; and Fossen, a water ride. At the fire station kids can learn fire safety rules and pretend to be a firefighter. Try your hand at making real chocolate at the chocolate factory. The site also offers a western town, a traditional Norwegian farm, and more. You can purchase food at one of the restaurants inside, or bring your own and grill at one of the barbeques located within the park. • We spent a nice day at this park, despite the fact that it kept raining, especially during the afternoon. This being said I think that the price/quality ratio is not on the better side for families...

  • Best place to enjoy a day with your family and kids. There are many rides for kids and adults also, some are water rides. So It's better to bring some extra cloths and towels. Food is available inside the park. There are different stalls for chocolate, popcorns, Ice-cream and also get lunch also.
  • Good rides for a variety of age groups, can easily spend the whole day here. The food leaves something to be desired (we had burgers), and prices in the park are steep. Kids had a ton of fun though, so totally worth it! We did this kids bank thing which was very difficult to understand, and the staff were not very good at explaining it, even in Norwegian. Kids get cards and collect points at a selection of rides to get a prize at the end.
