A colonial-style landmark with wrought-iron decorations, Maputo Central Train Station remains one of city's most memorable historic structures. The station, featuring pistachio green-colored roofs, was constructed in 1910 and designed by an associate of Alexandre Gustav Eiffel. Quick visit to the train station was nice. We liked the architecture of it and it us worth for a quick stop (20 min, unless you visit the museum) while walking in the neighbourhood.
