One of the multiple churches you should see while visiting Madaba. Lovely mosaics and basement area if they have it open for visitors. Total time needed <30 minutes.

We really enjoyed our visit here. The bell tour gives a good view and going under the church is very interesting historically. Exceeded our expectations for sure!

Such a multifaceted church, museum, and archeological site. Not only does this place have great historical significance, but it is a living place where people can learn, worship, or marvel. I enjoyed the underground passages and the bell tower most of all. If in Madaba, St. Johns Church is a definite must-see.

with only 1 JOD ticket, really worth it to visit. Underground ancient church, main church with great interior, & of course the bell tower to enjoy the panorama of Madaba city.
