    Great experience, very friendly tour guide. I was allowed to take pictures, people were very friendly and learned a lot about the temple and Yazidize religion.

    Definitely a must can't recommend highly enough, not knowing what to expect fully on arrival. To enter you must not be wearing shorts or shoes (socks are optional) We spent the best part of a day here and the Yazidis people were so friendly and helpful and explained the history of the religious site despite our language barrier. The underground tomb was amazing and also the climb up the mountain track barefoot

    Lalish Temple is a must. Just by being an UNESCO World Heritage Site by itself is more than enough to be worth a visit. The Yazid people are unique and must be recognized as such. I've visited during a trip around Kurdistan and am glad to have done it. Felt very free and safe to walk around the whole area.
