Crypte de l'Abbaye Saint-Medard, Soissons

Very nice interesting visit of this magnificent historical crypt. It's guided (1 hour). You learn about the history of the Saint Médard abbey and its famous crypt. It's fascinating. The guide is very nice and gives you all the information. Visit 2:30 p.m. €5. I absolutely recommend. You have to book in advance at the tourist office.

Remains of a marvelous abbey dating from the 5th century, it can be freely visited but be careful when entering because there is a college for boarding students inside. We got an unpleasant surprise because the director of the school practically threw us out of the place because in our confusion we did not know that there was a boarding school there. So better to ask when they go around.
