John Doe Escape Game Lille, Lille

We did Casino Magnifico as an English couple. We found the room to have some weaknesses which definitely spoiled our enjoyment of the session. One of the machines was broken, one of the video clues was verbal and in French which meant we misheard a number and wasted lots of time. The last challenge is very clever but a little poorly executed so overly hard to complete despite understanding the task and therefore just frustrating. The overall game relies on your games master hearing you complete challenges and turning on some features and videos at the right moments so we had some long gaps where we weren't moved on correctly and didn't understand what we were supposed to be doing. To be fair that's probably much better in French! The room is well themed but a little worn out. I would say it focusses quite a lot on searching rather than puzzles so also may depend on your personal taste.

As an English speaker, it was very nice journey due to the exit game prison! The translations and the hints was good! I did this with my colleagues tougher an it was a lot of fun! Tha k you for that!
