Visit the largest Hindu temples in the Southern Hemisphere at Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple. The temple features traditional Dravidian architecture painted in colors bright enough to make your eyes ache. Look for wooden carvings of Hindu deities sent from India and intricate ceiling frescoes. Check ahead of time for festivals occurring during your visit, like Karthingai Puja held monthly when visitors make offerings and receive blessings. Remember to wear modest clothing and remove your shoes at the entrance. Photos are not permitted inside the temple. • Practicing Hindi temple, located in Nadi. Neat to see but only need 15 minutes. No hats, long pants or they provide a wrap, sunglasses also are a no no.

  • Excellent tour given by the young man who is a part of the community. Fantastic adornments. Easily worth the 5$ entry fee. They are serious about modest dress. Recommended for an authentic experience with a local community members!
  • A fascinating place to visit - we were shown round by a guide who took time to explain different facets of the Hindu faith and how that faith is reflected in the lives of individual devotees. You need to be dressed respectfully - no bare shoulders, no shorts etc - but however you’re dressed, the guides will provide appropriate clothing. We’ll worth the time.
