    While stopping over at Bargo, we went exploring and the drive to Avon dam was really lovely drive. The roads were narrow and windy, but the views were spectacular

    Just a short drive away from Sydney, good destination for a part of a day trip. Absolutely beautiful views. Has a nearby picnic area with all the amenities such as gas BBQ and toilets. Can drive up to the dam it self, so disabled access friendly as well.

    Set in a beautiful bushland setting. Nice walk across the dam wall. Well equipped picnic areas with electric BBQ.
