Dedicated to stimulating and supporting the creativity of the New England's regional arts community, the Armidale Art Gallery hosts a wide range of exhibits, showcasing original paintings, drawings, photography, prints, textiles, sculpture, pottery and jewellery.
The Armidale Art Gallery provides a friendly, convenient and relaxed venue for a wide range of workshops, small group activities and events including artist talks and book launches.
We have four gallery spaces for exhibitions. These spaces vary in size and can be hired for a four week period. There is no need to be a member to hold an exhibition.
The gallery is conveniently located right in the heart of Armidale's shopping precinct and mall on Beardy Street.

Surprised to see the artwork of many well known Australian artists of the early 20th century from the Hinton collection along with indigenous and local artists. We sat outside at the cafe and can recommend the food.

The major political and aboriginal art exhibitions were awesome. Three smaller rooms also for local artists works. Although on a first floor location it's worth dropping in here as the exhibitions keep changing according the very friendly artist on duty.
