Araluen Cultural Precinct
A complex that houses art and history within its environs, Araluen Cultural Precinct showcases stunning and dynamic aboriginal art. Discover the history of skies at the aviation museum or the history of the earth at the geology and fossil exhibit. Catch a performance at the center for contemporary art and delight in the many galleries around the complex. If you're a film buff, check out the program for art-house films at the 500-seat theater, where independent films and live performance both find an audience. However, one of the highlights of the complex isn't the moving pictures but the magnificent stained-glass window that greets visitors at the entrance at the arts complex. Discover how to plan a Alice Springs trip in just a few steps with Inspirock's itinerary builder.

Enjoyed the art gallery and the aviation museum, don't need a lot of time here but definitely worth a stop!

Enjoyed the recent exhibition of Albert Namatjira, his beautiful watercolours. It was good to see local living artists get their works hung. The centre has beautiful modern/ traditional First Nations inspired Lead Light windows that are awesome and the adjoining outdoor area has fabulous traditional dot art on the exterior of the building. I'm sad I missed the crafts centre as it closes early.

I attended the Magic of Dance Alice in Wonderland Ballet. It really was magical. I enjoyed every second of it. The acoustics was great, the seating arrangement gave great viewing from any seat. Seats were comfortable with plenty leg room. I couldn't see drink holders on our seats since we were able to take in our beverage of choice. But still, was good we could do that. Very enjoyable evening.
