If you are prepared to be freezing cold for a while, this is an amazing experience. We did the sunrise tour to Mt Haleakala, biked down, then zip lined. Our day started by getting up at 2am and meeting the shuttle at 3:05 a.m. (which was there on the dot) Skyline Eco-Adventures provides you with warm clothes which was nice, and necessary. The drivers were all friendly and knowledgeable. The sunrise left you with some once in a lifetime views. Biking down the mountain was a trip as I haven’t ridden a bike in over a decade. It was fun, freeing, and felt incredible cruising down at some impressive speeds with views of Maui and the ocean. Zip lining was fun. It was the first time I’ve ever zip lined, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Towards the end, I was wishing there was more, but they do a good job easing you in. The guys we had guiding us were a blast. Overall, worth the lack of sleep and half the day.
Great trip with these guys! All of the staff were friendly and eager to help with gear fitting and making sure we were taken care of. They got us to the top of Haleakala before the rest of the crowd, so we had prime sunrise viewing. I would use their service again, for sure.
