  • This is the place to get organic lettuces, herbs, sprouts, arugula, avocados, and all sorts of other local fruits and veggies. I loved the guy who sells flatbreads - get some mozzarella at the KTA...  more »
  • Kona is very average compared to the Hilo market. Not that many styles not that many options. The Kona pure market in Captain Cook seems to have more options then this one in downtown Kona.  more »

  • The best part of this market is that there is a good variety of local produce all in one place that is of good quality. As a local living on the mainland, I can say it is not easy to find good produce like that from home there. A good example is the quality of this exotic fruit, lychee. Usually too old to buy at the markets near me. These were perfect! For those that haven’t tried it, chill it first, then peel and eat. So good.
  • Great place to get souvenirs for yourself and friends. Make sure you shop around as many of the booths sell the same thing but some for cheaper. Also inspect your items prior to purchasing to make sure they are intact. Overall highly recommend!
