Protected from the Atlantic by sand spits and barrier islands, Lagos quickly grew into a mega city due to its location, and currently operates one of the continent's largest and busiest ports.
Step out of Lagos with an excursion to The Henna Place in Lekki--about 36 minutes away. The adventure continues: enjoy the sand and surf at Elegushi Beach, relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers, head outdoors with Tarkwa Bay Beach, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at The Cathedral Church of Christ.
