Alupka is a resort city located in the Crimean peninsula, currently subject to a territorial dispute between the Russian Federation and Ukraine (see 2014 Crimean crisis). Start off your visit on the 23rd (Tue): take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Ai-Petri, get a new perspective on nature at Vorontsov Palace and Park complex, and then admire the natural beauty at Nikita Botanical Gardens. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: steep yourself in history at Chekhov House & Museum, appreciate the extensive heritage of Lenin Embankment, then examine the collection at Livadia Palace and Park Museum-Reserve, and finally enjoy breathtaking views from Swallow's Nest.
