Enjoy cultural, historical, and culinary exploration during your holiday in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand and the most populous city in the country.
Head to Chatuchak Weekend Market and Khaosan Roadfor plenty of shopping. Get in touch with nature at Chao Phraya River and Bang Saen Beach. When in Bangkok, make a side trip to see Ancient City in Samut Prakan, approximately Samut Prakan away. There's still lots to do: admire the striking features of Jim Thompson House, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), buy something for everyone on your list at Siam Paragon, and contemplate the long history of The Grand Palace.
