Do some cultural sightseeing at Aviation Heritage Museum and The Fremantle Round House. Take a break from the city and head to Rockingham Beach and Boat Tours & Water Sports. Change things up with a short trip to Point Peron in Rockingham (about 30 minutes away). Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Little Beach and Middleton Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Granite Skywalk,Castle Rock. Step out of Albany to go to Denmark and see Elephant Rocks, which is approximately 50 minutes away. The adventure continues: steep yourself in history at Princess Royal Fortress, appreciate the history behind Desert Mounted Corps Memorial, enjoy the sand and surf at Emu Point, and get great views at Padre White Lookout.
