Sitting on flat land between two chains of scenic mountains and close to the Tigris River, Duhok has experienced a growth in tourism in recent years.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Tue): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Rabban Hormizd Monastery. On the next day, admire the striking features of Lalish, then take in the awesome beauty at Zawa Mountain, and then walk around Azadi Park.

And it doesn't end there: identify plant and animal life at Dukan lake, see the interesting displays at Amnasuraka Museum, enjoy some diversion at Chavi Land, and indulge in your favorite hot beverage with Bellucci Cafe Majidi Mall.

The capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, Erbil occupies perhaps the longest-inhabited land in the world, with the earliest human settlement here possibly dating back to 5000 BCE.
Kick off your visit on the 20th (Tue): stroll around Shanadar Park, then see the interesting displays at Kurdish Textile Museum, then steep yourself in history at Erbil Citadel, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Mudhafaria Minarett. Keep things going the next day: stop by Bazaar, walk around Minaret Park, and then walk around Sami Abdulrahman Park.
