You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Take a break from Budapest with a short trip to Eger Castle (Egri Var) in Eger, about 2 hours away. Spend the 18th (Tue) immersed in therapeutic waters at a local thermal spa. There's lots more to do: admire the striking features of Parliament, appreciate the history behind Shoes on the Danube Bank, examine the collection at House of Terror Museum, and don't miss a visit to Fisherman's Bastion.
