  We kind of ran into this museum while walking through the Gothic Quarter. It was cheap to get into and you got to see a lot of ancient history below street level. I am going to say this is a must...  more »

  This site only open from 10am-2pm on Weekends only. The presentation of the site is amazing so you must book to see as a part of your discovery of the city'a wall .  more »

  Domus d'Avinyó is a little known historic site totally worth visiting. With a free entrance, this Roman era (1st-4th century AD) villa located in the basement of a house in Avinyó street displays mosaics, tiled floors, wall paintings and the only remains of a frescoed ceiling discovered in the Iberian peninsula. Though small in size, it contains also remains of plastered walls, quite inusual because of their fragility. A video with 3D reconstructions explains its history. It's definitely a must that will be on your path if you like the Gothic Quarter...
