Peter the Great founded the garden in 1703 to supply a hospital with herbs and medicinal materials. Since 1805, the land has belonged to Moscow State University and its biology department. You can explore the gardens as well as three different greenhouses. Walk along the site's trails or eat a meal at a restaurant with scenic terraces facing the greenery.
