Motag Living Museum
At Motag Living Museum, you'll have the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a traditional Filipino farmer, learning farming methods, and trying your hand at various crafts. Operating without modern technology, work continues here in the way it has been done for countless generations, with hand tools and animal power. At this community-run excursion, the whole family can learn everything from the history of the area and its culture, to how to plant and harvest rice. You'll also have the chance to try some traditional snacks, and even ride a carabao. Arrange to visit Motag Living Museum and other attractions in Boracay using our Boracay online route planner.

It was an amazing experience and a very hands on look into the traditional culture of that area. My daughters and I learned so much and had a much needed break from the overcrowded beaches of Boracay. The museum supports worthy causes such as preserving traditional village culture and helping the elders of the community earn their own income. You can contact Motag Living Museum through Facebook to schedule a visit.

Motag Living Museum is an educational, interactive and fun experience that adjusts your perspective on the privileges of the modern age. The people here are full of kindness, humility and happiness. It is a worthwhile experience. The cost was 700 php per person. We paid 100 php for a tricycle from the Caticlan Port. This place runs on donations and your money will be put to good use.
