  • You can watch from 9 to 11 in the morning except Friday. Women can't wear long sleeves without pants or maxi skirts or scarves covering their heads. The foot is OK even with sandals. Islam was basically strictly forbidden to decorate, so i didn't expect much until I visited it, but the outside corridors were decorated with a variety of patterned tiles and Arab-style architecture.

  • Opens in 2001 its one of the main attractions in Muscat. Accommodate up to 20000 worshippers it is marvelous and one of its kind. The architecture is breathtaking and words can’t explain the attention to detail. Child friendly but women can’t enter the main building. Separate place for women to pray. Gardens are well maintained. Peaceful atmosphere will calm your mind.
  • Beautiful building surrounded by exquisite gardens. Dress code is strict for this place of worship. Ladies and gentlemen must be covered from ankles to wrist and ladies need to cover their hair. If you are not sure, than ask the staff. They were all approachable, friendly and helpful. Stunning grounds, fountains, flower beds and surrounding buildings with lots of shady walks in the surrounding gardens. The Mosque is breath-taking with exquisite details everywhere you look and even when full of visitors, a great place for quiet reflection.
