Honningsvåg Church (Norwegian: Honningsvåg kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is located in the town of Honningsvåg on the eastern end of the island of Magerøya. It is one of the churches for the Nordkapp parish which is part of the Hammerfest prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white, neo-gothic, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1885 using plans drawn up by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The church seats about 220 people.

  • The oldest building in town, Honningsvåg church is a neat little church located close to the city center and is pretty much a mandatory stop if you are interested in the history of the town.  more »
  • Honningsvag is a very small town so the walk to the church is just a short walk up the hill. It was closed when I was there but I think is open during the summer months. WWII memorial just outside.....  more »
  • Was a church. Has a cemetery outside. Was a long line to go inside, so maybe great to see, but we went hiking instead.
