  • You can buy good quality gems at no cost. Because the shoebox is large, if the gem is confirmed with the Loupe provided in the shop, the outside is not bought. Do not ignore the nagging vendors. It comes to stick when doing to the other party. The price is about one-fifth of the Japan. Jade is even cheaper.

  • It is a British market on Aung San Street in Yangon. The first market was in 1926, originally named C.Scott, a local administrator of Yangon, called the Scott Market, where Myanmar was independent and named after Aung San (BogyokeAung San) as the independent hero of the Aung San Market. It is also referred to as the Aung San Market. The area is 29717 ㎡, with a total of more than 2,000 stores. Many tourist attractions sell all kinds of goods, ranging from sophisticated handicrafts, kainan his, jewellery, traditional costumes, shoulder bags, cosmetics, kitchen utensils, meat, seafood, vegetables, flowers, pottery, ceramics and other antiques, as well as trendy items. There are also grocery stores, restaurants, cafes and other places to whet your appetite every time you walk through an alley. In the midst of the market, the traditional handicrafts of Myanmar is famous for its jewel, which is one of the best places for tourists to visit Yangon to buy souvenirs. Typical jewelries include Sapphire, Ruby and 硬 (彫 sculptors) and Pearls (Namyangju), and are traded with silver products such as coffee sets, trays, cigarettes, and other kinds of lacquer (paints), such as lamps, Buddha, antiques, oil paintings, watercolor paintings, and handicrafts such as rattan cane.

  • A must visit place in Yangon! Textiles and crafts shops complete with jewellery shops makes this place a true Burmese tourist as well as local attraction. There is something for everybody. Even if you are not purchasing anything, this place makes for a good walk or window shopping. Just take a walk and you will not be disappointed. For those buying jewellery, please do your own due diligence where required.
  • The Market is the Collection of Palaces of Diamond, Precious Stones and Gold and Platinum Ornaments. Once upon a Time it had a different name called The Scott Market and my Street passing through the Railway Block of ၂၈ လမ် directly lead to its entrance. The market I wide enough to span 3 streets. It will be worthwhile to visit this place with your wife with lots of balance in your Debit Card ( I have all my photos in camera not readily available for upload )
