Made famous by writer James Joyce, St Stephens Green has been Dublin's favorite picnic spot for over a century. Opened in 1880, the park is adjacent to one of the city's major shopping streets, drawing equal numbers of nature lovers and shoppers in need of a place to rest. The largest of Dublin's Georgian gardens, this 9 hectare (22 acre) urban park once provided a marshy setting for public whippings and executions. Today, the elegantly landscaped garden features Georgian buildings and statues of some of Ireland's most celebrated figures, including Arthur Guinness, Robert Emmet, and W.B. Yeats. Located in the heart of Dublin, the park is accessible by tram from almost anywhere in the city. Find out how to plan Dublin trip without stress by asking Inspirock to help create an itinerary.

Un beau petit parc pour se promener et se poser, pas loin du centre commercial. Il y a pas mal de monde par contre. more »A nice little park to walk around and land, not far from the mall. There's a lot of people, though.
Beautiful park in the centre of bustling shopping area. Park is beautiful with people picnicking and children playing. Magnificent flowerbeds bursting with colour very well tended. Park ideal for a quite stroll or just sitting beside the duck pond watching the world go by. Lots to see and so peaceful too considering it is right in the city centre. Oh great signage also info on the history of the park. If you found my review helpful please give it a like thanks 👍
I have always loved Stephen's Green. I have been going there since I was a child. It really is magical. From feeding the ducks, smelling the flower, chilling on the greenery or just walking around finding all the hidden gems. I can't wait to bring my own children there and make even more great memories. It's a most to visit when coming to Dublin. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!
