Head to Water Museum and see the various ways the ancient city of Yazd acquired and distributed water, the most sought-after commodity in the arid desert region. The museum, established in 2000, sits in a restored mansion from the early 20th century and dedicates most of its displays on the history of the precious liquid in Yazd and the means used to obtain it. On a tour of the museum, you can acquaint yourself with the ancient 'qanat' systems of delivering water from the mountain slopes to the town and see a variety of artifacts and equipment used to dispense it for drinking, washing, and irrigation. • Yazd is generally associated with a desert city and lack of water. In fact, getting access to water used to be quite a big challenge! The Water Museum is a wonderful place to get familiar with the ancient system of underground water canals.
  • It shows us parts of a traditional house and also museum. Its like multi purpose visiting but i gave one star less because there wasn't a person to inform us
