    Guilan rural musem is an eco-museum near the Rasht city which displays different cultures and vogues of traditional Guilanian people. It has a lot of old traditional houses with special architecture.....  more »

    It's a great place to trace traditional costumses and lifestyle. It is full of ancient houses with porches,curtains,mats,etc. Remember to have cash since you won't be able to use ur credit card...  more »

    Such a great place with fantastic nature to visit and lots of to learn and see about Gilan native architecture , job , lifestyle and .... You have to pay for entre the museum but its a good experience.

    If youre interested in how people lived at northern parts of Iran, specially the gorgeous Gilan province, then visitting this place is a must for you. They transformed all the old buildings completely to the area of the museum so what you see is nearly the exact house that was built decades ago. Fridays are the best time for visitting the place, cause its holiday and guides of the museum will spend more time to show all around the place, which is pretty big, to you. Its open all days but on weekdays the time they will give you to see the place is short and they will only allow you to see a few of the houses. Which is why I gave them 4 stars and not 5.
