With 33 stone arches spanning the Zayande River, SioSe Pol Bridge cuts an impressive double-deck figure. The bridge extends for some 300 m (984 ft) across the largest river in central Iran, a true masterpiece of stone masonry constructed in yellow brick and limestone by one of the greatest mathematicians of his time. Marvel at this feat of stonemasonry while walking the 14 m (46 ft) wide lane across the bridge, completed in 1602. Explore the side corridors of its upper deck, as the water rushes below. One of the most impressive bridges in Iran, this well-lit structure makes an exhilarating spectacle day and night.     When you go to Isfahan, you must take a walk over Si O Se Pol (33 Arches Bridge). I hope there will always be water running through underneath the bridge which makes it more beautiful.
