Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple
Admire the intricate stone carvings and various statues and shrines at Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple. A Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu, the preserver god who rules over water, this hidden gem features grounds filled with natural springs and lotus ponds inhabited by golden carp. You can feed the fish, roam the lush forest landscape, and even drink the pure cold water from the springs. Be prepared to descend quite a lot of steps to get to the site, but once you do you will be rewarded with lovely surroundings and views of the rice fields. Note that women will need to wear a sarong, and men a sash, to enter. Peaceful and quiet place in Bali. This was the first of many temples. This is the one I liked most due to the picturesque setting and lack of (other) tourists. Very beautifully built. Surroundings are green and tranquil. Take a walk in temple area to appreciate the natural beauty. There are some lotuses blooming in the pool. A very nice view of the valley down below and some rice fields.

Beautiful, peaceful temple. About a 40 minute drive north of Ubud. Very relaxing vibe, you can do a small purification ceremony too. And feed the fishes. Also has a small swimming pool where people come to bathe, usually after school. Was not very busy when we went, besides a couple of small tourist groups. I think it was 20k rupiah or something for foreigners to enter. Also has a changing room and bathrooms if needed.
