  • There are many museums and museums. You can get to the station somewhere even if you are lost access from the U-Bahn station. It is a district that can be enjoyed for a long time, such as historical buildings and modern art buildings lined with impressive buildings in a spacious space.

  • The historic building was joined by the Leopold Museum, which houses an important collection of Austrian art around the turn of the 19th century, including paintings by Klimt, Kokoschka as well as the world's largest collection of works by Egon Schiele. The museum has numerous special exhibitions. There is a very nice café-restaurant to relax in. From the top floor you have a wonderful view of Vienna city centre! In addition, the Museum of Modern Art (MUMOK) is to be mentioned in a new basalt building, which has sometimes been heavily criticized, but is intended to point out through the basalt the recent history of the art presented in it. It has a large collection of 20th and 21st century art, presented in frequent exhibitions. The architecture centre has a very interesting presentation of Austrian architecture of the 20th/21st century, as well as exhibitions showing fascinating architectural projects from all parts of the world. For children there is the "jungle" with theatrical performances and a very nice children's museum. Derr Hof des MQ is summer full of young people, there are loungers in the sun that like to be frequented. Gastronomy exists in the courtyard, in the Leopold Museum and in the Kunsthausrange. In front of the MQ there is an artistically arranged mini golf course in the summer! There is a parking garage with acceptable prices, from which you can also reach the Art and Natural History Museum as well as the Hofburg Museums in a short walk time!

  • One of the places to be when you got nice weather. Some great cafes, restaurants and bars. Also a few great museums along the way.
  • There are more organised museums with more interesting exhibitions and more famous artworks. The environment however is very relaxing and the place is a social hub. So, not the best museum but a very good social center.
