Awarded with the Austrian Museum Prize for its innovative design, the museum occupies the former palace of Archduke Charles. It really isn't. It is an academy room with 6 musicians on stage playing repertoire for boys, musicians are not so bad, but to be Vienna they leave much to be desired. They also have 3 prices: 50, 40 and 30 eur. Depending on the location in the room, but it is practically the same, the room has no more than 5 rows of wooden chairs. It's a total scam.
This is such a fun place. Every one of our family members had a wonderful time. My only wish was that there would have been a piano or some musical instruments that one of the great composers had played present on the premises. There are replicas and other authentic instruments from that era. Anyone traveling should make an effort to go see this place. My kids had a great time.
Great museum. Fun. Interactive. Awesome. From conducting an orchestra to sitting down and listing to what a baby would hear inside a womb. It is a great family day at for tourists, educational trips and locals. It's a must do even if you don't like music
